Treble and Concert

Tutu Maramba – Practice accurately singing pitches for the ending! Drill Portuguese language phrase by phrase through the bottom of page 4. The last measure of page 4 through the end of page 6 is in English. Practice speaking the text in rhythm, then on pitches. Part 2 singers need to review their notes on solfege for the entire piece. Part 1: Emily, Star, Lydia, Caleb, Zari, Trinity, Erionna; Part 2: Maria, Keziah, Chris and Evan. Securely memorize with accurate pitches (part 2)!

Winds of Peace – review with your new part assignments. Practice consonants and tall vowels for English and Hebrew text. Practice singing the rounds with a friend or sibling. Treble choir sings the first unison section on their own. Practice at home as though you were going to sing this as a solo.

Dona Nobis Pacem – review and memorize. Be able to sing entire piece on solfege syllables. If time, we will test this at the next rehearsal.

Two Little Kittens – review and finish memorizing the entire piece.

Siyahamba – review your part and memorize text in various languages. Particularly work on East Coast Algonquin language.

Keep reviewing Come Worship the Lord, Sing Joyfully, For the Beauty of the Earth and No Laugh Race.
